Having a baby is a major moment in your life! You're going to want to savor every moment. Newborn portraits of your little one is the perfect way to celebrate and capture the small features and big emotions.

I completely understand wanting to take this time for yourselves, it's precious, which is why I offer parent's a relaxed and personal newborn photoshoot, in the comfort of your own home.
WHAT TO EXPECT
From your newborn photoshoot at home
Before your photoshoot we will have had a chat, so we can get to know each other and go through details in order plan the best newborn photoshoot for you.
Your newborn photoshoot will typically take place during the first 2 weeks of their life, as this your newborn is more likely to be sleepy and enjoy curling up into those cute poses. Every baby is unique so I am completely baby led, in order to make sure they are safe and happy whilst having their photos taken. I will bring all the equipment, blankets, wraps, props and newborn outfits needed to create your beautiful photos, so you don't need to worry about a thing, only organising your own outfits which I can help you with if your planning on having parent and or sibling portraits.
AT-HOME NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT IN STAFFORDSHIRE
To secure your newborn photoshoot you'll pay a £99 session fee upon booking and this will be deducted from your chosen package.
You do not have to choose a package upfront after all, why would you pay in advance for images you have not seen yet?
Your final gallery of edited images will be ready for your viewing appointment, which takes place 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. Packages and Wall art start from £299 and pay monthly options are also available.
FAQ'S
WHEN’S THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH YOUR NEWBORN BABY?
Soon after you bring your new baby home, ideally within the first 2 weeks. This is because they sleep more and still curl up into different poses.
WILL MY HOME BE BIG ENOUGH OR TIDY ENOUGH?!
This is a question I hear a lot. And the answer? I may move the odd thing here and there to fit the background in but I can adapt and work in the space of your choice. In all my years of working as a photographer I haven't come across a space I wasn't able to adapt to and work in.
Most houses contain a level of chaos and that’s particularly true when children are involved. It's completely normal.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN AT-HOME NEWBORN SESSION
While you don’t need your home to look like a hotel, there are a few things you can do to prepare for newborn photoshoot at home. Deciding which room you want me to work in and making sure that the room is nice and warm so that your baby is comfortable whilst we are taking their first portraits.
CAN MY DOG JOIN IN ON THE PHOTOSHOOT?
Yes, dogs are part of the family! Please let me know if this is something you want as we will have to plan it into your session

Tamsin made the whole experience calm and relaxed and made sure our little one was happy and comfortable throughout. Our little boy went from a very sleepy milk drunk state to wide awake and very uncooperative 30 seconds after starting but Tamsin and her assistant have incredible patience and persistence and managed to settle him in the poses. We also had some sibling photos taken and Tamsin really engaged with our daughter making her laugh and enjoy the experience too. The photos themselves are stunning and by far the best photos I have had done, they came printed and in a stunning presentation box so we could see what they actually looked like instead of just a digital image.
